LVPSPE "Engineer of the Year" and "Young Engineer of the Year"

The Lehigh Valley "Engineer of the Year" and "Young Engineer of the Year" awards are meant to distinguish and recognize – in a dignified public way – outstanding Lehigh Valley engineers each year.  The award recognizes an engineer who has made significant achievements in the area of: professional society activities; civic, fraternal, religious or humanitarian activities; professional and/or technical publications, papers, or patents; and the field of engineering during their career.  The awards are presented during the Engineering Week banquet in February. 

Candidates will be evaluated based on:

  • Education & Collegiate Achievements
  • Chapter, PSPE, and NSPE Activities
  • Technical Society Activities
  • Additional Activities (civic, fraternal, religious, humanitarian)
  • Publications, Presentations, Papers, Patents
  • Professional & Personal References
  • Engineering Experience
